Daily maintenance of greenhouse film

The greenhouse film is relatively fragile and easily damaged during use and storage. If it is damaged during use, some temporary repair methods can be used. Common repair methods include water repair method, paper repair method, paste repair method, hot repair method and glue Replenishment method.

The operating procedure of the water replenishment method is to first scrub the damaged area, cut a piece of film that is slightly larger than the damaged area without holes, dipped in water and stick it on the hole, drain the air between the two films, and press it flat. . The paper patch method is generally used when the agricultural film is slightly damaged. Dip a piece of paper in water and stick it on the damaged place while it is wet. Generally, it can be used for about 10 days. The glutinous method is to use white flour and water to make a paste, and then add red enamel equivalent to 1/3 of the weight of dry flour, and it can be used to replenish the film after a little heating. In addition, there is a glue repair method. Wash all around the hole and apply it with a brush dipped in special glue. After 3-5 minutes, take a film of the same texture and stick it on it. The glue can be stuck firmly after it dries. The hot patch method and the glue patch method have good effects on the film patching, but the patch patch method not only leaks air, but also is easy to pull apart, and thinner shed films are not suitable for use.

The film after dismantling the shed should be permanently repaired. If the thicker film is damaged, it can be covered with a film of the same texture and connected with a thin thread. You can also wash the damaged part, cover the hole with a slightly larger film, and then cover 2-3 layers of newspaper, and lightly iron along the joint with an electric iron. The two films will be heated and will stick after cooling. Together, this method is called the hot patch method.
