Before building a greenhouse, many customers would ask me whether there will be water leakage on the top of the glass greenhouse, how can the multi-span film greenhouse prevent rain leakage, and what problems we need to pay attention to during installation to prevent excessive rain leakage points inside the greenhouse.
First of all, the most important point is to find the slope of the greenhouse drainage when doing civil construction. Generally, the drainage is drained from the middle of the gutter like two sides, and the slope is controlled at about 2.5 per thousand. , I have seen that the most fundamental reason for rain leaks in many greenhouses is that the drainage length is too long and the slope is not well illuminated. As a result, the accumulated water in the sink cannot be removed in time, resulting in a large area of rain leakage. Roof trusses usually have a degree of camber. The truss must be designed according to the roof load, because if the truss specification is too small and the top load is heavy, the truss will sink in the middle and cause some water to accumulate in the sink.
Before installing the sink and the gutter bracket, it is necessary to do a good seal of tape. Generally, three pieces of waterproof tape should be attached to the seam and one on each side. Where there are screw holes, block the holes. If the top is a sun board, the contact surface of the sun board and the aluminum profile should be treated with double-sided tape, and the bottom of the sun board should ensure that all rainwater can flow into the sink.
If the top is aluminum alloy herringbone beam and aluminum alloy gutter, because the roof drainage is involved here, the waterproof requirement is relatively high, and the gutter connection must be waterproofed. Structural glue and gutter connection buckle must be used here. Use a glue gun to apply a few more coats of glue to the board. The aluminum alloy herringbone wears leather strips, and glue 40-50 cm from the bottom up. At the top of the window, pay attention to the standard installation of the frame, and do not cause the frame to be bent and cause the skylight to have gaps and cause the skylight to leak rain.
Because of the large temperature difference between indoor and outdoor inside the greenhouse, dew is often present. The sun panels and films we use are anti-drip functions, but they will flow out to the gutter. At this time, you need to install a dew collecting device here. The principle is similar to that of a gutter. This is what we often call the condensate system.
We must require the workers to be serious and responsible for these work in the early stage. The gap between the installation teams is sometimes quite large. After completing these tasks, there will be little rain leakage in the shed. We only need to wait for the later rain to mark where there is rain. If it is missing, it will be fine if we workers need to fix it.
