How should strawberries be cultivated in a greenhouse?
Strawberry cultivated in protected areas is planted in high ridges, generally without cultivating, and the period of plastic film mulching should be determined according to the climate environment and cultivation requirements. For overwintering and cold protection, generally pour enough freezing water before the soil freezes, and cover it when the surface is slightly dry after 3 to 5 days (mid-to-late November). In order to increase the ground temperature as the main purpose, it is appropriate to use a transparent film; to prevent weeds as the main purpose, it is appropriate to use a colored film. The thickness of the mulch film is generally 0.008 ~ 0.020mm, combined with cultivating or applying organic fertilizers in autumn to carry out the burial work, and the thickness of the soil should be exposed to the center of the seedlings.
The growth of strawberry must have sufficient nutrient supply, and the base fertilizer is mainly organic fertilizer, which should be carried out before planting. Due to the high planting density of strawberries, it is inconvenient to supplement fertilizer during the growth period, so it is best to apply enough base fertilizer at one time, generally not less than 30t/hm2 of chicken manure or not less than 75t/hm2 of high-quality manure, and appropriate amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be added. . Organic fertilizers should be spread evenly after they are fully decomposed.
