Types and characteristics of greenhouse films
(1) Polyethylene ordinary film (PE)
It has good light transmittance, and the light transmittance of the new film is about 80%; it has weak dust absorption, and does not have the phenomenon of excessive dust absorption (stickiness) caused by the precipitation of plasticizers like polyvinyl chloride film (PVC). It has strong low temperature resistance, the low temperature embrittlement degree is -70℃, and it can still maintain softness at -30℃. The relative density is 0.92 g/cm3, and the infrared transmittance is as high as over 70%. The thermal insulation performance at night is poor, not as good as PVC film. It has heavy fog drop resistance and poor weather resistance. It has a service life of 4 to 5 months. It is not light-resistant and has a high-temperature softening degree of 50°C. (2) Polyethylene longevity film
It uses polyethylene as the base resin, adds a certain proportion of ultraviolet absorbers, anti-aging agents and antioxidants, and then blow molds it. It has good weather resistance and a service life of 1.5 to 2 years. The thickness is 0.1 to 0.12 mm, and the film amount per 667 meters is 100 to 120 kilograms. The width has a folded diameter of 1 meter, 1.5 meters, 2 meters, 3 meters, 3.5 meters, and 4 meters. That is, the single width after opening is 2 meters. (5) Multifunctional membrane

(7) Polyethylene dimming film (light conversion film)
It is a new type of plastic film that is blow-molded using low-density polyethylene (LDPE resin) as the basic raw material and adding a light conversion agent. It can convert ultraviolet light in natural light into red light and infrared light, reducing ultraviolet light that is not beneficial to plants. The increase of red light and infrared light can improve the photosynthetic utilization rate of plants, strengthen photosynthesis, and increase the indoor and ground temperatures in the greenhouse. This kind of agricultural film has the characteristics of longevity, aging resistance and good light transmittance. The thickness is 0.08 to 0.12 mm, the fold radius is 1 to 5 meters, the tensile strength is greater than or equal to 13 mPa, the elongation at break is greater than 305%, and the right-angle tear strength is greater than or equal to 50 kg/m. The service life is more than 2 years, the light transmittance is more than 85%, and the warming effect is not significant under low light.
Bonding Methods
1. Agent bonding method. Mainly use vinyl chloride resin plastic glue to bond and repair polyvinyl chloride film. Polyethylene film can be repaired with polyurethane adhesive, and sometimes it can be ironed with a small hot steel saw blade.
2. Mud sticking method. In the process of using the greenhouse film, if there are small damages such as scratches or wrinkles, you can cut a piece of plastic and paste the mud water on the damaged place.
3. Hot bonding method. The heat, downward pressure, and advancing speed of the electric iron used should be so that the two films under the paper will soften and stick together to a certain extent after being heated, and then peel off the paper strips and stick them together. One section of the film is pulled to the other end of the wooden strip, and then the next section is repeatedly bonded, cyclically, until the film is connected to the required length.
